City Adding 70 New Bike Share Stations

By Phil Orlandella

More than 70 new bikes share stations will be placed in neighborhoods throughout the city, according to Maria Lanza, Liaison for the Boston Neighborhood Services Department.

“Help is needed from residents and the business community to find locations for the new stations,” she noted.

North End/Waterfront residents will have the opportunity to express their opinion or make suggestions for possible sites in their neighborhood at a scheduled public workshop scheduled for Wednesday, October 11 from 6-8 PM in the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 North Bennet Street.

Residents can also respond online at www.suggest.thehubway.com. For more information log on to www.boston.gov/bike-share-expansion.
