Luigi Areniello of Boston’s North End died on January 2 surrounded by his loving family.
He was a member of Local 1552 Meat Cutters Union.
Born in Lapio, Italy, he was the beloved husband of Anna (Ferrante) Areniello; devoted father of
Claudia Areniello of Lynn, Tizziano Areniello and his wife, Rhonda of Winthrop, Crestina Perez
de Alderete and Gioena Areniello, both of the North End; adored grandfather of Savahna, James,
Louis, Michael, Ariana, Justine, Lia, Ava and Tizziano Jr., dear brother of six siblings and uncle of Guiseppe Areniello
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 5 from 9 to 10 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church, North Square, Boston with a Mass of
Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
