Enforcement Will Make Lower Limits Work

Lowering the speed limit in Boston from 30 to 25 miles per hour will without question lower the accident rate, prevent all kinds of injuries and most importantly save lives.

The Governor, Mayor and the City Council support this effort that has been a long time in the making.

However, without enforcement, the new City of Boston policy will not be effective and speeding on Boston streets will continue to endanger residents from every neighborhood.

Only through rigid enforcement will the city’s streets become safer from drivers with lead feet on the gas pedal.
