Michael and Cynthia Malm have been presented the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) Good Neighbor Award for their stewardship of the Prince Building landscaping and street trees that help make the neighborhood beautiful and clean.
Since 2008, they have designed, pruned and weeded the landscape beds around the building for the sheer joy of gardening and to cultivate a pleasing sense of place on their block of the North End/Waterfront.
Michael and Cynthia expressed their appreciation for the recognition of receiving the community award from NEWRA and hope that their efforts give as much joy to the neighbors as they get in doing the work.
NEWRA Chairperson of the Good Neighbor Award Janet Gilardi presented the award said, “Michael and Cynthia have done a terrific job over the years doing their part to help keep the community beautiful and clean and they deserve recognition for a job well done.”
