A request by Lesley Hankins to extend living space into the basement at 2 Michelangelo Street was approved by the Boston Inspectional Services Department Board of Appeals. No construction is required. This has been an existing condition for many years.
           Both community groups, North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) and North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) supported the request.
