Permanent North End Dog Park in the Planning Stages

Now that the successful dog park pilot program at DiFilippo Park is officially over, the well used facility will remain open while Responsible Urbanites For Fido (RUFF) continues to meet with the City of Boston to proceed with plans to build a permanent, official dog park in the current space.

RUFF is working to secure grant funding and will be holding many fundraisers in the coming months.

Dog owners utilize this safe, legal, off leash park can support the endeavor by sending letters in favor of making the park permanent. The more letters of support the better case RUFF can make. Send to [email protected].

The non-profit, all volunteer committee works hard to make the park amazing. Donations can be made through RUFF website and during events.

One of the items that will be added with an official park is a means to obtain water frpm the two levels..

RUFF claims responsible In helping to keep the park clean and the city has managed to empty trash barrels in a timely manner.

            Volunteers are helping RUFF’s Board members to keep the park safe and locked each night.
