NEWRA Supports Occupancy Change

A request by Chris Young to change the occupancy at 27-29 Fleet Street from four to five apartments was supported by the North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA) at their August monthly meeting.

Plans call for the renovation of the building which is located in a Multifamily Residential Subdistrict of the North End.

Boston’s new Chief of Civic Engineering and Head of the Office of Neighborhood Services (ONS) Jerome Smith discussed the role of ONS and updated residents on current ONS activities and issues concerning.

Boston’s new Chief of Arts and Culture Julie Burros discussed her role as Chief and the public art culture and aspirations for the city.

            The next NEWRA monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, September 10 at 7pm in the Nazzaro Community Center.
