Support North End Small Businesses

No one needs to be reminded of the nasty 2015 winter season that created massive problems and budget strains across the state including small businesses.

While North End businesses have since weathered the winter season, it is taking a toll on the usual economic status, especially on the weekends when the community is very busy.

North End small businesses contribute heavily to the city’s economy and should be patronized by local neighborhoods.

Having a solid City of Boston revenue flow means more attention can be provided to the historic community which lost much of its tourism business as well.

The City of Boston Office of Business Development (OBD) appears to be doing everything possible to get small businesses on the right track by offering a full range of services from financial and referral services, to business façade improvements and small loans, to networking events to ensure business owners get the support they need to succeed.

OBD, in addition, connects small businesses with appropriate city agencies and resources to help entrepreneurs succeed and create numerous jobs.

The Regional Review encourages the community to get out and support the North End small business community.
