National Fingerprint Background Checks a Must

A plan adopted as an amendment to the House’s budget proposal would require prospective foster parents to pass a national fingerprint background check before being allowed to take in at- risk kids should be passed when both branches meet to hash out any differences including those on specific amendments.

The amendment would be a good safety improvement that would protect all adoptees.
