T Produces Flaky Snow Plan

Purchasing snow clearing equipment and developing reduced-trip snow schedules doesn’t sound like much of a snow battle plan, yet that’s all the MBTA has come up with to date.

One would think after the totally disastrous performance by the T this winter a more progress efforts would have been in order.

The plan is full of powdery snowflakes that melts before it hits the ground. It’s an attempt to silence their critics and customers.

T employees didn’t help the situation banging out plenty of sick and personal days when they were needed the most. But that’s another story.

During major snowstorms the words out of everyone’s mouth is “Don’t drive, take the T.” This season it was walk or stay-at-home, not very good alternatives.

Granted, Old Man Winter dumped tons and tons of the white stuff this winter, but the T got caught with no plans, leaving the shovels in the barn.

The “T” stands for “Terrible.” In needs to get their act together or it will face another below performance.
