North End District 1 Crime Down in February

The month of February has been quiet, according to District A-1 Commanding Boston Police Captain Ken Fong, told residents at last week’s North End Public Safety meeting held in the Nazzaro Community Center.

Only one arrest was made for disturbing the peace at 464 Hanover Street.

Homeless complaints were limited and no loud noise parties were reported.

Captain Fong said, “Police were extremely busy assisting Boston Public Works Department with snow removal and traffic related issues.”

North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) Public Safety Committee Chair David Marx told residents that calling 911 is the best way to assist police.

The next Public Safety monthly meeting will be held on Thursday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Nazzaro Community Center.
