Neighborhood Engagement Walks Provide Valuable Information

Neighborhood Engagement Community Walks being held in the North End community have become a great service to residents, especially abutters of proposed projects.

These on the spot meetings held by the Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Services provides the community a firsthand opportunity to see potential projects before they begin and express their point of view to a city representative, Nicole Leo on the spot.

The walks also help local neighborhood organizations, (NEWNC and NEWRA) when these proposals are placed on their agendas for discussions at public meetings.

Potential developers also gain valuable input from residents obtaining important information relating to their projects.

Neighborhood Engagement Community Walks are a win-win situation for the City of Boston applicants and the neighborhood.
