Essex Harmony, an auditioned Danvers-based mixed chamber specializing in “Singing School” early American choral music and contemporary American choral music, founded in 2006, will perform at the next Old North Foundation Songs of Liberty Concert.

The musical group will perform an exciting and poignant William Billings music that includes song selections that demonstrate the American principles of freedom and liberty.

The group compromised of 16 members will perform: “Lamentation Over Boston”, “Retrospect”, “Is Any Afflicted” and “Jordan” the theme of the Essex Harmony.

The group will perform mostly in acappella. The concert date is Saturday, August 23 at 12 noon.
