Robert ‘Dancing Bob’ Colvario
Of Chelsea, formerly of the North End and East Boston
Robert J. “Dancing Bob” Colvario of Chelsea, formerly of the North End and East Boston, died on December 28.
A US Navy veteran of the Vietnam Era, he was the beloved husband of Lola “Cookie” Kerble-Colvario; father of Gina Colvario Krupka and her husband, Mike and the late Diane Colvario VanMeter; brother of Richard “Richie” Colvario and his wife, Kathryn of East Walpole and Papa to Jimmy and Lucas VanMeter. He is also survived by five nephews.
Bob’s Funeral was held from the Magrath Funeral Home, East Boston followed by a Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church. Interment with Military Honors was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
