Help Keep Community Crime in Check

Part 1 crime in the North End/Waterfront has been down in the area over the past year, 2012-2013 according to a District A-1 Boston Police report.

Hopefully, this trend continues with the New Year.

The combination of residents, the business community and Boston Police working together to prevent crime is apparently working.

Conducting a monthly Public Safety meeting helps in many ways.

Information and suggestions between all parties goes a long way toward preventing crime in the neighborhood.

Call 911 immediately is a great tool to report crime and help capture criminals as soon as possible. When calling 911, provide as much information as you can.

Let’s start the New Year off right by reporting crime to police and attending the monthly Public Safety meetings held the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Nazzaro Community Center.

Preventing crime in the neighborhood is everyone’s business.

A great New Year’s resolution would be to help keep your neighborhood as crime free as possible. Get involved!
