Three presentations were discussed at the recent North End/Waterfront Residents’ Association Zoning, Licensing and Construction Committee monthly meeting held on September 24.
“Two of them were subsequently approved by NEWRA Executive Committee not to bring these appeals before members for a vote,” according to David Kubiak, ZLC Committee co-chair.
“In both cases no abutters or community concerns were raised,” he noted. “Letters to the Zoning Board of Appeal stating that NEWRA has no objection to them.”
422-424 Hanover Street, Margot Seligman filed a zoning appeal to change the legal occupancy. The Board of Appeal hearing is scheduled for October 22 at 10:30am in City Hall, Room 801.
37 Charter Street, Filomania Falcucci filed a zoning appeal to change the legal occupancy. The Board of Appeal hearing is scheduled for October 22 at 10:30am in City Hall, Room 801.
The following application was presented and discussed at the ZLC Committee meeting on September 24 but the application has already been approved by the Licensing Board after a hearing at City Hall.
130 Salem Street, Monica’s Mercato, Inc applied to the Licensing Board to amend the existing C.V. 7-Day Malt and Wine Retail License to change the description of the business space from one room on the first floor with basement storage to two rooms on the first floor with basement storage.
