Domenic Paternese

North End Resident

Domenic Paternese of Boston’s North End died on April 19. He was 97 years old.

The loving husband of Gloria J. (Maccalone) Paternese, he was the cherished father of Brenda Corso and her late husband, Jerry, Donna Alessi and her husband, Richard, Michael Paternese and his wife, Anita, and Janice Galeno and her loving companion, Jim Cook; beloved grandfather of Richard and his wife, Sheila, Jonathan and his wife, Miriah, Joseph, Jaime, John Michael and Michael John; adored great grandfather of Bianca, Adrianna, Juliana and Nicholas and the loving brother of the late Ricco Paternese and his family.

His Funeral will be held from the Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St, Boston, on Wednesday, April 24 at 9 a.m followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Stephen Church on the corner of Hanover and Clark Streets at 10 a.m. The family will accept visitors today, Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Swampscott Cemetery in Swampscott.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.

Emma Ruth Randolph

Retired MGH Nurse

Emma Ruth Randolph, a long time resident of the North End of Boston, born on December 3, 1907,  passed away on April 11, 2013.

She was a long time resident of Boston’s North End and worked as a nurse at Mass General Hospital.  Ruth lived her life believing that as long as you had a kind heart and a helping hand that God would bless you and he truly did bless her by surrounding her with an amazing family and friends who supported her and loved her until the end of her days. She is survived by her great grand children and great-great grand children, she will be missed by many.

Alfonse Trulli

Of Revere, formerly of the North End

Alfonse J. Trulli of Revere, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on April 16 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

A licensed realtor and a longtime real estate developer who loved to travel, he was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Born in Boston, son of the late Alfonse and Rosa (Rica), he was the beloved husband of 41 years to Frances (Lubell); devoted father of Ellen Santamaria and her late husband, Robert of Peabody and the late Lance Trulli and his surviving wife, Lisa of Boston; cherished grandfather of JoyAnn Fisher of Pennsylvania, Erika Olivas of Boston and Carla Trulli of Salem; dear brother of Catherine Nadolny of Maine, Elena Doucet of Canada, Emma Rizzo of Medford and the late Concetta Peri and loving uncle of Jean and John Marr of Maine. He is also survived by his dog, Precious.

Funeral arrangements were by The Paul Buonfiglio & Sons-Bruno Funeral Home, Revere.
