Anna Edelstein

Travel Was Her Passion

Anna P. (Sutera) Edelstein of Revere died on January 17. She was 83 years old.

Anna’s passion was travel. She toured several countries and loved to share stories of her journeys with family and friends.

The beloved wife of Marvin Edelstein, she leaves her niece Lucy Giorgio-Pirkey and her husband, Ed of Revere, and nephews Albert Giorgio II and his wife, Mary Ann, and Paul Charles Sutera. She also leaves four grandnephews: Robert, Jason, Albert III and James and her  grand-niece Katy. Anna was predeceased by her sister Lillian Giorgio, brother Paul Sutera and nephew Steven Giorgio. Anna’s passion was travel.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Leonard Church. Burial was at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. Arrangements were by the Boston Harborside Home, Boston. Of Boston’s North End

George Mendoza of Boston’s North End died on January 23. He was 73 years old.

He was the loving husband of the late Monica Maxwell-Mendoza; cherished father of Jorge Mendoza and his wife, Karen, Patrick Mendoza and his wife, Elisa, Maria Mendoza, Juan Mendoza and his wife, Julie, and Frank Mendoza and his wife, Amanda; beloved grandfather of Jorge, Sofia, Veronica, Matthew, Megan, Maxwell, Melanie, Mia, Natalie, Coco, and Daisy and is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
