Carmela (Saporito) LoGrasso of Everett, formerly of South Boston and the North End, died on October 14.

She was the beloved wife of Gaetano Lo Grasso ith whom she shared 41 years of marriage; loving mother of Rocco LoGrasso and his wife, Marllina of Revere and Francesca Santostefano and her husband, Joseph of Middleton; dear sister of the late Salvatore Saporito and his wife, Antonietta of Somerville and their children; cherished grandmother of Sofia LoGrasso and Michael and Gaetano Santostefano.

Of Worcester, formerly of the North End

Anna (Pasquale) Giovannucci of Worcester, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on October 14. She was 83 years old.

She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Elizabeth (DiRamio) and the beloved wife of the late Dominic Giovannucci. She leaves her sons Vincent and his wife, Janice and Edward and his wife, Lydia, and grandchildren Andrea, Carl, Isabel and Michael Giovannucci. She is also survived by her sisters Vincenza, Emma and Maria. Of East Boston, formerly of the North End

Edward E. Canto of East Boston, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on October 17.

He was the beloved husband of the late Filomena (Nuzzo) Canto; loving father of Sabina Taylor and her late husband John H. of East Boston, Camille Gilardi and her husband Louis of N. Reading, Ann Shirley Fritz and her husband, Albert of Everett and the late Edward E. Canto Jr. and his surviving wife, Angela of New Hampshire; cherished grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of 15; dear brother of Peter of Boston, Helen Cacciola of Everett, the late Mary DiTomasso, Anthony, Guy and Dominic and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Janice E. (Papa) Nathanson of Malden, formerly of Boston’s North End, died on October 12.

The devoted wife of Martin Nathanson, she was the daughter of Elena (Fasano) Papa and her late husband, Angelo; beloved mother of Corinne Sforza of Malden and her late husband, Michael, Janice Papa of Newburyport and Marie-Elena Withrow and her husband, Gary of Florida; step mother of Ruth Greene and her husband, Brian of Virginia and David Nathanson and his wife, Anne of Virginia; sister of David Papa of Florida and the late Angelo Jr., Johanne Doherty and Patrick Papa; cherished grandmother of nine grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
