After enjoying a special dinner at Janet Gilardi’s home on Fulton Street, the dinner host, her friend Anna Gaeta and three members Dante, Olivier and Ronnie, stars of the Soap Opera General Hospital, made their way to the North End Community Nursing Home to meet one of the stars’ biggest fans, Josephine Gaeta, 102 year old life-long North End resident.

“As soon as the cast members heard there was a woman in the Nursing Home that was the oldest and most faithful fan of the show they rushed over to meet Josie,” Gilardi said.

“Josie greeted her surprise guests and her admirers with all kinds of questions about the show and she made it her business to tell them she watches General Hospital everyday and has for many years,” Gilardi said.

“Josie, once the visit was over, made it her business to make sure everyone around her knew about her special guests who stopped by to say hi to a great fan,” Gilardi said. “She had a smile on her face that went from ear to ear,” Gilardi added.
