Despite having a 0-3 record in the Suburban League, Coach Al Vilar feels his Team Ralph DeMarco has "been playing fairly well and will come around and begin winning some games."

The North End Little Leaguers opened the season against Braintree losing 8-2.

Aaron Cronin and Robert Pagliuca led the team offense with 1 hit each. Michael Perez had a two RBI single and Aariyand Aminpour and Andrew Olivio both scored a run.

Team DeMarco played a very good Randolph team losing their second game 12-1.

Coach Vilar used several pitchers but Randolph kept scoring on several hits and a few errors.

Andrew Olivio had a walk and a single for the North End team.

Game three versus Marshfield turned out to be another loss for Team DeMarco 10-4.

Trailing 5-0, the team made a good comeback closing the gap to 5-4 but that’s all they could muster.

Aarie Aminpour had a single and scored a run. Robert Pagliuca had an RBI and scored a run. Aaron Cronin had a single and also scored a run.

Sean Byrne led the hitting attack going 2-2, two singles.

Solomon Taieb and Robert Pagliuca played solid defense.
